Full-Size Magazine Base Shoe for Walther® PDP® Compact

This base shoe allows the use of full-size Walther® PDP magazines in PDP Compact pistols, increasing magazine capacity from 15 rounds to 18 rounds while maintaining proper fit, function, and handling.

This adapter is part of the T2G DA1 modular magazine adapter platform and serves as the foundation for optional accessories such as the MagTrace™ recovery module.

The system combines a precision-machined, anodized aluminum base plate with a high-strength solid TPU rubber sleeve that interfaces with the upper portion of the magazine and fills the grip transition area. The sleeve is secured using four black stainless fasteners that pass through the aluminum base into the TPU body, creating a rigid, mechanically retained assembly.

This design maintains the original grip diameter and adds only approximately 3/16″ beyond the length introduced by the full-size magazine. The result is a low-profile configuration that preserves ergonomics, supports consistent grip placement, and minimizes interference with clothing and equipment during draw and manipulation.

By eliminating the exposed magazine-to-frame transition, the base shoe provides a clean, uniform interface between the grip frame and magazine body, improving both appearance and functional handling.

Installation

Installation requires removal of the factory magazine base plate and installation of the adapter assembly. An installation video is provided. Basic hand tools required.
